As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our warehouse team and ensuring products are received, stored, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time. Your Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, packaging, picking, and shipping products.

  • Coordinate warehouse activities to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

  • Coach, train, and support warehouse employees to help them perform their roles effectively.

  • Participate in recruiting and onboarding new team members.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical inventory aligns with system records.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.

  • Ensure shipping and receiving processes are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Manage product returns and ensure materials are handled and documented properly.

  • Work closely with Production, Supply Chain, and Transportation to maintain smooth material flow and prevent delays.

  • Organize warehouse space to improve efficiency, accessibility, and workflow.

  • Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste.

  • Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement within warehouse operations.

  • Ensure employees follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

  • Address operational issues, identify solutions, and escalate concerns to the Transportation Manager when required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing environment.

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is an asset.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to coach, train, and motivate a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience with inventory management or ERP software is an asset.

  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement is an asset.

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse/manufacturing environment.

  • Must own safety boots.

  • Reliable transportation, as HERD is not accessible via public transportation routes.
